If you are concerned about eating unhealthy, which you should be, food I would recommend the following recommendations.
From what I have learnt from reading various books, I would like to conclude that the following are foods to avoid at much as possible:
- Rice and all grains
- Fast food
- Canned or processed food
- Chips, ice cream and cookies
- Bread
- Any high sugar content food like candy, chocolate, fruit juice and pastry.
What food to we should be eating:
- Vegetables (e.g. salads but no dressing)
- Fruits (not juice!)
- Meat (e.g. chicken and beef)
- Fish
- Nuts
- Eggs
What supplements to take:
- Omega 3
- Multivitamin
- Magnesium and many other minerals as necessary
