Writing code (a.k.a. programming, a.k.a. coding) is a fun activity. It tickles your brain to think very differently from many other activities.
There are 700 programming languages that programmers speak. (Or rather, write.) From which you can pick one or two to learn and be familiar with. For fun. I bet you will enjoy it. Of course you’ll need a computer.
According to many (such as this page), HTML is not a programming language. Whether or not it’s a programming language, you can learn and code in its syntax. This is the code that you see every day as web pages.
