Hades and Its Crispy Slash And Hack

By | November 7, 2020

A few weeks ago I picked up Hades. It’s a game that I saw a pro streamer played a few weeks earlier. The game was still in early release during that gameplay.

I played the game for about 15 hours in a span of two weeks.

If you have not seen this game before I would say that this is an action hack and slash game. It has epic fast pace fights where you have to overcome from one room to another.

The game main plot is pretty short in my opinion. Yet I did not finish it. And I came to a thinking that this game is probably not about the story. It is more about how we react to the fights with the randomly given boons with a lot of hopes on luck.

Hades’ Graphics is Attractive

The reason why I said the story is short is also because the game emphasize on the repetitions. You basically have to start over the progress in a way. Starting from the start point. The House of Hades.

Although random boons during the fights are temporary. The game provides you some way of progression. You get to collect some materials that help you increase certain stats and passive skills.

To me the main entertaining parts of the game is how the fights can be very intensive and fast reactions are essentials to overcome the fights. It is very thrilling.

The game graphics are very nicely rendered and pretty lightweight. It runs smoothly on my GTX 1060 with no sweat. I like this kind of render very much.

Although the story is pretty short, the pieces of conversations are really filled with hilarious moments. You shouldn’t miss this game. Have fun smashing.
